Edge watersports have been running watersports events in Exmouth for over 10 years. Both the ‘Edge Race Cup’ and the ‘Exe Hammer Paddle’ have become extremely popular annual events that attract participants from far and wide! The Edge Race Cup forms part of the British Hydrofoil Race Tour stop & brings all the best UK Riders to Exmouth to battle for the trophy. Alongside this, the legendary Exe Hammer takes in the 10km stretch from Topsham To Exmouth on a paddleboard. Against all odds, the Exe Hammer Paddle still went ahead in 2020 and was so gratefully received by its loyal group of paddlers. You can check the event video here.
Edge's annual Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) event - 'The Exe Hammer'! The 10-11km circa Stand Up paddleboard race/regatta on the River Exe. This event is a firm favourite amongst locals and SUP enthusiasts and throws new challenges to participants year on year!

The Edge Race Cup is one of the main stops on the British Hydrofoil National Championships. Racers battle it out around the course in an exhilerating spectacle. An increasingly important event as we get closer to the Paris 2024 Olympics which is set to include kitesurf racing for the first time.
