Steph left early Monday morning to race at the latest world tour Kitesurfing event on the Algarve in Portugal. Not normally the windiest place in the world but there are good winds forecasted this week.

She is defending her event victory from last year and also her ranking of first place in this years world tour standings. She was excited as she had just received her new race board form the north development team and is hoping it continues to give her the speed edge over the other competitors. Steph will also be competing in the freestyle competition at this event so long as her ankles can take the abuse!

Hopefully we will get some video and pictures of Steph’s progress over the next few days.
