KITESURF AND WINGSURF DEMO WEEKEND!
Come down and join us for our 2023 Shred Fest!

A weekend of kitesurf chat / gear / shredding and a great excuse to get together! On top of this we will be hosting Exmouith’s very first Wingfoiling race event – it is definitly a weekend for the diary.

When?
16-17th September

Where?
Edge Watersports Centre, Sideshore, Exmouth

The plan of action?

Edge watersports are super excited to be hosting a Kitesurfing and Wingfoiling Demo Weekend!

Starting: 9am Saturday 16th Sept – 2pm Sunday 17th Sept.

Saturday:

From 9am all of your favourite kite and wing brands will have tents and equipment specialists ready to chat gear, Along with this there will be plenty of demo gear ready and waiting for you to try.

There is also Parkrun on the Saturday morning if you fancy!

Wing Event:

LW is at 2:30 on 16-3-23. Therefore it will be a midday briefing and a 13:30 first possible start – the race gurus Guy and Steph will be on this, thoughts are a Slalom.

Heats: Youth (U18), Pro Division men, Pro division women, Seniors – all racing together but separating categories for podium at prize giving + awards.
We will host a prize giving ceremony at 17:30 for all competitors.

Entry: £55 inc. event T-shirt
This is available to book through our website or here: https://widget.eola.co/qwbc5

Evening plans
Edge will organise a BBQ into the evening with a beer, cider, cocktail bar and DJ – these usually get quite busy and also make for a really special evening + great vibe.

Sunday

Plan B: if the wing event is called for Sunday, HW is 8:50 so it would be an early one, 7am briefing, first possible start 8:30. Like I say, hopefully this takes place on Saturday but will be great either way!

On Sunday we will aim to be finished at 2pm.

THE HYPE! I have attached a poster for the event – it would be great if we could collectively start sharing on socials / shops to get the word out, thank you.

Where to stay in Exmouth?
Heaps of Van accommodation along the seafront

Pratts Hayes farm camping

Praying for epic wind and loads of water time – a great excuse for everyone to get together!

The weekend’s activity will take place off Exmouth Seafront – queens drive car park
