What a week we have had in Exmouth, Solid NW winds all week and some amazing after work sessions have been had on the Duckpond – 5 days in a row! Above is Olly boosting over the River Exe Cafe which sits just upwind from the duckpond, we do not recommended you try this! Now is the time to dust off your wetsuit and kitesurfing gear (if you have had the winter off) and get back out and have fun getting fit, the water is warming up and the wind is still blowing so there is no excuse not to go riding this bank holiday weekend. Kitesurfing and SUP lessons are available 7 days a week at the moment, so let us know if you want to get out and learn something new this summer!

Edge Race Cup 2016 11th and 12th of June

It’s getting to that time again when the excitement starts to build for one of the biggest kitesurfing events in the UK calendar – The Edge Race Cup. This event is back for the 7th year running an it’s set to be the biggest and best event yet! For 2016 we have dropped the slower and less popular Formula Raceboard fleet in favor of the Hydrofoil fleet, this change will enable top racers to be able to compete regardless of the breeze, which will make for a better spectator event on the day. In addition to the Hydrofoil class we are keeping the most exciting and often the more competitive, B Fleet, this fleet is open to the average kitesurfer and riders can use twin tips, surfboards and free race boards.
The finer details with regards to the after party and food are still being finalised but its looking as though it will be a wicked event with some amazing people as always!

The Beach House Exmouth

15 weeks, 6 skips, 5 sets of scaffolding, 10 refurbished bedrooms, a new roof, new set of electrics, new kitchen, new hot water system, new hot tub and close to 8000 man hours have gone in to this amazing restoration project. This massive 10 bedroom house was brought by Steph, Eric and Geoff earlier on in the year and since then it has been full steam ahead to get the house ready to receive guests throughout the summer… The first guests will be arriving this weekend so it’s an exciting time for everyone involved.

The Beach House has unbroken views over the mouth of the river and is a short 2 minute walk to the beach, facilities include a swimming pool, outdoor heated showers and hot tub as standard, not to mention your guaranteed uninterrupted views of the water – best views in Exmouth!

The house can sleep 20 people and is available for both weekend bookings, as well as weekly bookings. A special price of £500 per night is available from Monday – Friday, for those wanting a mid week get away (please enquire for more information on this offer).
