We have lived in Exmouth all our life and want to share some of our favourite experiences, places to eat, visit & enjoy.

EXPERIENCE – The 2 miles of Sandy Beach right on your door step. As the tide drops away enjoy walking next to the waters edge, feel the sand in your toes & the salty wind in your face.
WALK -Along Exmouth Seafront to the Pinnacle & the start of the JURRASIC COASTAL PATH. Fantastic views over Start Bay, The Exe Estuary
SWIM – in the sea right in front of the lifeboat station is the swimming area and at Low water makes for a huge shallow lagoon ideal for youngsters also.
ROCK POOLS & CRABBING – At Maer Rocks around Low water is ideal for ‘pooling & crabbing. Slippery so take beach shoes.
CHALLENGE yourself to learn a new sport? Try Kitesurfing/ Stand Up Paddle/ Sailing/ Kayak/ Golf/ Mountain Bike
RUN – along the beach towards Sandy Bay at Low water and return along the coastal Path back to Orcombe Point
TENNIS – Play at the Lawn tennis Club which is on the Maer- just a few hundred meters from the Bh. To book & get the court keys please see Eric or Steph.
WATERTAXI To Dawlish Warren for the most quiet private beach with white sands, drift wood & shells to collect. Take a picnic, swim in the sea, watch the boats come & go and take a walk through the marrum Grass.
PADDLE – enjoy the SUP SAFARI which takes you to the undiscovered beaches & nature the river exe offers with a guide that will give you instruction and a tour of the area. Up to groups of 15 people.
FISHING TRIP- with Guy Bridge
A FULL DAY OUT ON BIKES – Take the River Exe Trail along the river starting at Exmouth Train Station. The route takes you to lympstone- Topsham then onto Exeter. Take the trail across the Exe at the Canal and back towards Starcross. Take a de-tour to the Turf Locks Inn for Lunch (summer only) then on along the river to Starcross where you can take the ferry back to exmouth (summer & bikes cost £5) Or onwards to Dawlish where you can take the train back to Exmouth.

HALF A DAY OUT -15MINS DRIVE:
WOODBURY COMMON – Great place to walk the dogs, kids to play in the woods, Mountain Bike
BUDLEIGH SALTERTON – Park at the CarPark and walk along the River Otter towards the OtterMill. Spot the kingfishers, Otters and birdlife. Enjoy the pebbles, red cliffs, old seaside town feel & nature reserve at Budleigh. A great venue for North winds since the beach is sheltered.

KIDS ANIMALS – Donkey Sanctuary, Country Life Wildlife park, Creally Country Park
FARMERS MARKET is in Exmouth strand on wednesday mornings
WET DAYS: Take the train to Exeter for shopping & eating. Enjoy the Cathedral, Canal and new Princess hay shopping centre.
WET DAYS FOR KIDS: Bicton Park/ Ocean/Creally Country Park/ Country Life/ Exmouth swimming Pool/ Bowling/ Climbing wall in Exeter
LAZY DAY – Take a stroll along Exmouth Seafront or jump on the seafront train.
