Easter is upon us and with cracking weather and good wind its time to get out on the water! Forecast looks good for friday afternoon on the seafront, and theres plenty going on at Edge in the next few weeks.

Good Friday SUP Session – 5pm start, meeting at the shop for a cruise along the seafront. Its free if you have your own SUP or you can hire one for £20 including any personal gear you need. Contact us to Pre Book. Not sure what SUP’ing is about on the Exe then check out our SUP Page.

Easter Sunday SUP Cruise – 10am at the shop, heading up river to burn off the Calories from those easter eggs stopping for a drink in Lympstone on the way. Its free if you have your own SUP or you can hire one for £20 including any personal gear you need (bring some coins for a drink). Contact Us to prebook

Exe Kiteboarder Social/AGM – 27th April at Pebblebed cellars in Topsham. £5 for Members and £15 for non members gets you some great food and fantastic local wine with limited availability – contact the shop for more details.

Sunday Kids Club – Lots of interest for this and it starts on the 1st of May. For beginners its the morning session running 10 – 12, and those with kite experience its the intermediates session at 2-5 every sunday. Costs are £125 for the beginners and £175 for the intermediates for six weeks. Limited spaces so contact the shop for more information and to book in.

Super 10 Intermediate/Advanced Coaching – Running over the weekend weekend we have friday looking at Unhooked techniques with British Pro Champion Ted Naylor, Sat looking at Race board techniques with world champ Steph Bridge, Sunday is a SUP cruise day and monday will look at riding a directional board with and without straps. Edge Race Cup supported by the ATASS group – 11th/12th June Great opportunity to meet new people and have a bit of fun kiting with others! Costs are £25 before the event and £30 on the day and for that you get an amazing goody bag (worth more than the entry fee), A BBQ on sat night and the chance to win a share of the £1000 prize money on offer. Two catagories – Course racing for the serious guys and an open slalom for those on twin tips and surf boards with an out and back long distance race thrown in for good measure. Shop News – The Bridglets have just got their hands on the prototype 2012 Vegas in 5m and 6m sizes and are available for you to try. Got loads of 2010 and 2011 secondhand gear in the shop at the moment – Check out our secondhand page for details. We also have a new Full Time instructor called Sam hailing from Cornwall and you should see him alot on the water this summer.
