ABOUT THE ACADEMY

Based in Exmouth, the Edge Youth Academy is a new initiative for youngsters keen to get involved with kitesurfing. Born from the family’s experiences of young kitesurfing talent being wasted due to lack of funds, the Bridges’ new initiative encourages young people to try the sport, and train with them for free.

“I learnt to kitesurf down in Exmouth a year ago with Steph Bridge, and now I’ve just won my event at the British Kitesurfing Championships!” – Rachael Hooper, Team Bridge Youth Academy Kitesurfer.

The Team Bridge Youth Academy trains on Thursday afternoons from 16:00.
