Just wanted to say a few words on the new shinn 135×42 monk. Had an opportunity to use it on Saturday in underpowered 14 metre weather. Would have normally reached for the larger king George.  What can I say this board is awesome. Plans early, super smooth and fast. No spray at all, good upwind, excellent pop but best of all is the carving ability even in low wind. Now for a 95 kg kiter who kites in challenging conditions at weston-super-mare and after having tried a number of other twin tips this one is the cream for the conditions I kite in.  Used it Sunday in 15 knot condition s and it just got better and better with butter smooth landings from sent jumps. This gas reignited my twin tip kiting. Definitely a board worth trying for difficult conditions. Very similar to the north x ride but faster and smoother.
