Edge Race Cup Report
The 4th Annual Edge Race Cup ran over the weekend of the 15th and 16th June 2013 and marked the second stop on the British Kitesurfing Association UK kitesurf racing tour. Held in Exmouth which is widely regarded as one of the best locations for kitesurfing in England with kiting possible across all wind directions.

pasty cup - Steph and Ollie 1st and 2nd
A beautiful weekend in Cornwall. With light seabreezes and scorching sun. The Pasty race cup held in Marazion was attended by all the top riders from around the UK. With 9 races held across the weekend the racing was tight but Ollie Bridge ultimately won the event beating his mum Steph into 2nd place.

The Edge Race cup is fast approaching with just 4 weeks to go. We are already receiving entries and it pays to pre register!
Pre Registration is open until the 7th June and costs £35. Registration after this date and on the day is £45. The Cost of Entry is more than covered by a goodie bag containing industry items worth more than the entry fee itself. So everyone is a winner.

Edge Hawkers Cove kitesurf day trip
The Camel estuary boosts similar conditions to the river Exe , however when the wind swings to the NE, the bay facing opposite Daymar is always worth heading to. Tarifa Micro Adventure
With snow on the ground in Exeter Airport, NE winds 25knots & sub zero temps we took a 06.15 Dixon airways flight aboard a 4 seater private jet to Gibraltar. Mark, Ray, David and myself as coach we had every minute filled with action since we were returning back to the uk on Wednesday afternoon.

2013 BOA VISTA SAFARI
What seems to have grown into our second home, BoaVista bought varied wind, waves & plenty of action during our final coaching trip of the winter. Snow Kite Exmoor

Big Thursday
Its all got quite exciting weatherwise this week in the westcountry. Wednesday saw exmouth pretty much isolated with all routes in or out of the own flooded. And Thurday is proably the windiest day of the year so far.

European Title, Youth World Title and a World Silver Medal in 14 days!

PKRA TOP RESULTS AND VIRGIN CHANNEL CROSSING ALL IN ONE WEEK!
Oliver, Tom and I travelled to Istanbul for the PKRA racing & freestyle event which for all of us was our first proper stop this year. An Easy Jet flight out of Luton following the Edge Race Cup wrap up & we arrive to 30 degrees , some wind & time to get wet at Burc beach, Istanbul. British Channel Crossing a SUCCESS!
In total the crossing took 2hrs 18minutes to complete with 10 riders including Richard Branson and family, not to mention our very own Steph Bridge!

Edge Race Cup - Report
June 23rd and 24th saw the 3rd running of the Edge Race Cup, now established as the premier kitesurf racing event in the UK. The record entry of over 40 kiteracers came expecting great kitesurfing conditions and were not disappointed!
