Since introducing kitesurfing to many people from all walks of life, Steph and Eric have been highly thought of in the industry for offering professional courses run to the highest level of safety and quality. Being involved with the RYA as an RYA coach and centre recognised for teaching young people (AALA) Eric and Steph have a wealth of knowledge and ability in the watersports industry. Kitesurfing became an extension of our coaching & training alongside an already busy sailing and powerboat school (Spinnakers estab. 1992).
In 2005 Eric was asked to be involved with the BKSA Scheme. His early input invaluable and along with a handful of others, his idea's formed the basis of the BKSA scheme as it is today. Eric offer's a number of courses and modules for you to attend to progress your teaching & skill level

Pre-course requirements:
This 5 day intensive course covers approx 50% practical sessions including on the water coaching, powerboat rescue, coaching & recovery of kite using boat. Onshore teaching involves coaching the method of introducing kitesurfing, ways & How we teach, background knowledge, site & risk assessment. Students will also be assessed on their personal kitesurfing.
The expected minimum level is: riding well upwind, a rotation, riding toe side and basic jumping. On the final day of the course an outside moderator assess' your progress and a written paper is also given.
Pre-course requirements:
Dates on request, this 2 day course involves 75% classroom/scenario based teaching. Emphasis on this course is on centre management, teaching larger groups of people and more specific training in Risk assessments, operating procedures and coaching techniques.
