Here at edge we can offer a range of activities to satisfy large or small groups, no matter what age or ability we can help. We can offer anything from a full week of activities to just a few hours. For example how about a day spent on the water learning to kitesurf and windsurf, or even wakeboarding behind a 4.3litre powerboat. If what you are looking for is not listed under our packages, please give us a call and we will endeavour to put something together for you.
Youth Groups
At edge we are AALA affiliated so we are licensed to teach groups of children and young people. We often offer summer and holiday courses specifically designed around kids who want to do more with their time than just sit infront of the tv, please watch this space for course schedules for our next holiday program.
If you are simply wondering whether your child is suitable for our watersports tuition the answer is probably yes. We can teach children from age 6 upwards in at least one of our watersports, generally we like to teach kitesurfing from around age 12 upwards but we offer younger students the chance to progress through powerkiting first, where they can learn the skills needed for kitesurfing and progress a lot faster when they get on the water.

We can offer a range of activities so that everyone in your group will be satisfied, hopefully gaining new experiences and skills along with having loads of fun!

All prices include the use of wetsuits, Spray tops, Buoyancy aids, helmets & harness's. All experiences are subject to tides, wind and weather conditions. Booking conditions apply to all activities.

Half Day Options

Powerkite Taster Session - £25 per person
Following a brief rigging session, we start with smaller kites to get the 'feeling'. This is shortly followed by introducing a bit of 'PULL' & experience some POWER with the bigger 4 line kites. We never stop being Kids - flying kites is for everyone. This is a MUST for all who wish to go on the water kitesurfing.
Kitesurf Taster Session - £75 per person
Its all about getting wet and experiencing the first steps to becoming a kitesurfer. Plenty going on and by the end of this session you will go away wanting MORE.
Stand Up Paddleboarding Taster Session - £30 per person
This sport which is growing all over the world now is a new way to enjoy being on the water. Whether you want to simply have a good work out or play in the surf, this is super fun and a true balancing act.
Windsurf Taster Session - £55 per person
Getting on the water, standing up on the board and going along. Wind awareness, balance and turning around are all introduced.
Wakeboard & Powerkite Taster Session - £65 per person
The double whammy involves a wakeboard session to improve the board skills followed by a session flying kites. Both experiences best done before the kitesurf course.
Kayak River Experience - £28 per person
Sit- in and paddle, enjoying the scenic River Exe, points of interest and landing at one of the Small villages for some refreshments!
Full Day Options

Introduction to Kitesurfing - £95 per person
With Two hours on land in the morning learning to master kiteflying skills and then moving into the water for the afternoon to give the bigger water kites a blast. Kitesurfing is a powerful Drug and is addictive!
Marathon Kayak/SUP Trip - £55 per person
Will take you up the estuary passing Topsham, the Clyst, Turf Locks inn and Lympstone! Plenty of stops and plenty of miles.
Jurrasic Coast Kayak/SUP Trip - £55 per person
A coastal passage out of the River exe and along the coast taking in the fantastic scenery to Budleigh Salterton. A snorkel, fish, bite to eat or swim on the way are all part of this experience. We collect you by Van at Budleigh where there is a chance for a rest and a café stop!
The Full Works - Windsurfing/Kayaking - £125 per person
Half day doing both sports and getting the full Edge experience
